In 2005, a group of farmers who found Easter Seals Wisconsin's FARM services helpful organized to give back to the program. The pilot project involved raising and selling donated calves, with proceeds of the sale donated to the FARM Program.
People have donated animals, transportation, materials, their farms and time, and feed to raise one or more calves. Proceeds from the sale of the animals go to the FARM Program to provide direct client services.
Anyone interested in helping in any way with this worthwhile project is welcome.
